He started his successful educational life at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine (English), one of the most established medical faculties in Turkey, and successfully completed his medical education between 1993-1999. Following his graduation, he continued his academic studies without slowing down and gained critical experience as a research assistant in the Neurosurgery department of Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine between 1999 and 2003.

Deciding to specialize in radiology, he completed his Radiology Specialization at Kırıkkale University Faculty of Medicine between 2003-2008.

Following his specialization training, he completed his mandatory service at Bingöl Maternity and Children's Diseases Hospital between 2008-2010. Joining the Süleyman Demirel University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Radiology in 2010, Prof. Dr. Aktaş served as the Head of the Interventional Radiology Unit for many years, bringing numerous assistants and specialists to the medical world. During this period, he also served as the Assistant Editor in the Medical Faculty Journal of the university.

Transferring to the Medicalpark Antalya Hospital Interventional Radiology Department with the title of Associate Professor in 2016, our professor carried his academic achievements to the highest point and received the title of Professor. Today, he accepts his patients in his private clinic in Muratpaşa, Antalya.
